At this time of year there are berries everywhere! This week 5 challenge is to draw attention to making sure you eat 1 cup and the variety that are available. Berries are loaded with antioxidants, they are a wonderful source of fiber, have anti inflammatory properties, and are nutrient dense. I love to have some in my smoothie, in salads, with yogurt and even by themselves. I usually leave a bowl on the counter and it’s a guarantee they will be gone by dinner.
